Ok, i wake up this morning to find a offer of settlement from a company called LCS for a couple of hundred pounds, so obviously I get onlyne and try and find out if it's a hoax, or a areal thing.
About a year ago I flat-shared with another stundent, both our names were on the contract, but all the bills were in his name. I have paid him all the money for the bills cash in hand, for every single bill. That was about a year ago, then I moved from there as we were't getting along really well, and havent heard from him since then. Now i get this letter with a letter of settlement which says they will instigate Legal proceedings if don't pay the amount owed. BTW this is the 1st letter I get from this company. Any advice please on what to do?
